Technical Sales Specialist Position – USA

Field International LLC is currently seeking a Technical Sales Specialist serving customers particularly in the Aerospace Sector. The role can be based anywhere in USA but preference for Texas. We strongly prefer candidates with experience selling highly specialised tooling to the Aerospace Sector. 

 

The Company

Field International is a global business with engineering and manufacturing facilities in the UK, Singapore and China, and sales offices around the World. 

Field are looking to strengthen the team within the USA to cope with the ever-increasing demand and we are looking for a specialist sales lead within our airline tooling business.

Field International are a world leader in aircraft tooling and proud to be the UK’s only official Airbus Tier 1 supplier and to hold a Boeing aircraft tooling license. 

 

The Position 

We are looking to recruit a motivated and engaged Technical Tooling Sales Specialist with a growth mentality. As the lead tooling sales specialist, you will create new, develop potential and manage existing clients of Field International Limited across the full airline tooling product portfolio. 

 

Responsibilities

Your main focus will be on customer growth for Field International in the USA with extensive travel required across all of North America on a regular basis

You will identify, develop, sell all Field International Limited airline tooling products and services into new and existing customers 

Be the senior point of contact for Field International in the USA

This person will be the focal point for representing Field International at MRO/Trade shows

Lead the development and implementation of the sales plan, including relationship building, key coverage plans, opportunity prioritization, overall strategy and a budget/target for business growth and development.

Provide regular reports, briefings and reviews as required to the Executive Board.

Develop plans to ensure the retention of current global business levels by working well across boundaries. 

Ensure relationships are developed at all relevant levels and geographies in the client organization by involving the appropriate members of the Field International team.

Own and drive account management: make comprehensive development plan(s), buy-in and approval for the execution of the account plans.

Develop qualified opportunities from ‘contact to contract’.

Create input for annual budget cycle from the approved account plans and take responsibility for the delivery of the related targets.

 

Person Specification/Experience 

Educational background to first degree

Specific highly engineered Aircraft Tooling and GSE experience required from either working in a similar business, working in a customer or client such as Boeing, GE etc or be from a recognised tooling trader. 

Skilled at working alone within a remote virtual team and be able to proactively resolve commercial issues.
